硅基波導(dǎo)光柵耦合器與波導(dǎo)傳輸損耗的研究

【摘要】:對硅(Si)基波導(dǎo)光柵耦合器的設(shè)計(jì)與耦合性能進(jìn)行了研究。采用本征模展開法對光柵耦合器進(jìn)行設(shè)計(jì)與優(yōu)化,通過實(shí)驗(yàn)測量了光柵的耦合性能,并對均勻光柵、自聚焦光柵和反射光柵等3種光柵耦合器的耦合性能進(jìn)行了比較,耦合效率分別達(dá)到了達(dá)到47.86、56.36和48.98%,自聚焦光柵可以有效改善光纖到光纖的傳輸效果,耦合效率提高了8.5%。通過實(shí)驗(yàn)測量了基于耦合光柵技術(shù)的Si基條形波導(dǎo)和槽型波導(dǎo)的傳輸損耗,結(jié)果顯示,條形波導(dǎo)和槽型波導(dǎo)的傳輸損耗分別為2.34dB/cm和6.31dB/mm。
[Abstract]:The design and coupling performance of silicon (Si) based waveguide grating coupler are studied. The grating coupler is designed and optimized by the intrinsic mode expansion method. The coupling performance of the grating is measured experimentally, and the coupling performance of three grating couplers, namely uniform grating, self-focusing grating and reflection grating, is compared. The coupling efficiency reaches 47.86 and 48.98 respectively. The self-focusing grating can effectively improve the transmission effect of fiber to fiber, and the coupling efficiency increases 8.5%. The transmission loss of Si base strip waveguide and slot waveguide based on coupled grating technique is measured experimentally. The results show that the transmission loss of strip waveguide and slot waveguide are 2.34dB/cm and 6.31 dB / mmm.
