基于Nd:SYSO晶體的激光輸出特性研究

【摘要】:自從上世紀(jì)八十年代末出現(xiàn)以激光半導(dǎo)體泵浦的全固體激光器以來,激光技術(shù)領(lǐng)域發(fā)生了一場(chǎng)革命。全固態(tài)激光器以其高輸出功率、高脈沖能量、超短脈寬為特征輸出,以簡單化、長壽命、可靠性為設(shè)計(jì)優(yōu)勢(shì),在醫(yī)療、通信、印刷、科研、材料加工及軍事等領(lǐng)域正在發(fā)揮著前所未有的作用,推動(dòng)了傳統(tǒng)產(chǎn)業(yè)和新興產(chǎn)業(yè)的發(fā)展。本文以中科院上海硅酸鹽研究所利用提拉法生長出來的Nd:SYSO晶體為研究對(duì)象,使用激光二極管通過光纖耦合系統(tǒng)對(duì)晶體泵浦,分別對(duì)連續(xù)輸出光、調(diào)Q脈沖光和鎖模脈沖光的輸出特性進(jìn)行分析研究,得到了輸出功率、脈沖寬度、重復(fù)頻率、脈沖能量等參數(shù)和吸收泵浦功率的變化關(guān)系。本文具體內(nèi)容有以下幾部分:1、總結(jié)了激光器從理論出現(xiàn)到如今百花齊放的發(fā)展過程,介紹了目前光電領(lǐng)域重點(diǎn)發(fā)展的全固態(tài)激光器,并列舉了常見的摻Nd3+離子的激光晶體。2、實(shí)現(xiàn)了二極管端面泵浦Nd:SYSO激光器的多波長連續(xù)運(yùn)轉(zhuǎn),并研究了輸出鏡在不同透過率情況下的輸出特性。輸出鏡透過率T=5%時(shí),泵浦閾值最小為0.7 W,輸出功率最大為1.88W,斜效率和光光轉(zhuǎn)化效率分別為29.7%和28.0%。3、利用聲光調(diào)制器完成主動(dòng)調(diào)Q脈沖雙波長輸出,輸出光波長為1075.2 nm和1078.2nm。當(dāng)泵浦功率為8.7 W,調(diào)制頻率分別為5 kHz,10 kHz和15 kHz時(shí)候,最大的平均輸出功率分別為556 m W,626 mW和720 mW,從連續(xù)光到脈沖光的轉(zhuǎn)化效率分別為53.1%,46.8%和61.2%。當(dāng)調(diào)制頻率為5 kHz,泵浦功率為8.7 W時(shí),得到最窄脈沖寬度為58 ns,對(duì)應(yīng)的單脈沖能量為112μJ。4、利用Cr4+:YAG可飽和吸收體對(duì)Nd:SYSO激光器進(jìn)行被動(dòng)調(diào)Q。得到1075.2 nm和1078.2 nm雙波長輸出,輸出鏡透過率T=5%,泵浦功率6.7 W時(shí),最大輸出功率為843mW,光光轉(zhuǎn)化效率為12.5%,斜效率為13%,最窄脈寬是26 ns。5、用Matlab編程,進(jìn)行腔型設(shè)計(jì),采用V型腔,利用Cr4+:YAG可飽和吸收體,進(jìn)行Nd:SYSO調(diào)Q鎖模,實(shí)現(xiàn)了調(diào)Q鎖模脈沖輸出。
[Abstract]:A revolution has taken place in the field of laser technology since the emergence of all solid state lasers pumped by laser semiconductors in the late 1980s. All-solid-state laser with its high output power, high pulse energy, ultrashort pulse width as the characteristic output, to simplify, long life, reliability as the design advantage, in medical, communication, printing, scientific research, Materials processing and military are playing an unprecedented role in promoting the development of traditional and emerging industries. In this paper, the Nd:SYSO crystal grown by the Czochralski method in Shanghai silicate Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences is taken as the research object. The laser diode is used to pump the crystal through the fiber coupling system, and the continuous output light is respectively used. The output characteristics of Q-switched pulse light and mode-locked pulse light are analyzed and studied, and the relationship between the output power, pulse width, repetition rate, pulse energy and absorption pump power is obtained. The main contents of this paper are as follows: 1. The development process of laser from theory to present is summarized, and the all-solid-state laser, which is the focus of optoelectronic field, is introduced. The multiwavelength continuous operation of the diode end-pumped Nd:SYSO laser is realized, and the output characteristics of the output mirror under different transmittance are studied. The minimum pump threshold is 0.7 W, the maximum output power is 1.88 W, the oblique efficiency and optical conversion efficiency are 29.7% and 28.0 路3, respectively. The acousto-optic modulator is used to realize the dual wavelength output of the active Q-switched pulse. The output wavelength is 1075.2 nm and 1078.2 nm. When the pump power is 8.7 W and the modulation frequency is 5 kHz,10 kHz and 15 kHz, respectively, the maximum average output power of 556 MW 626 mW and 720 mW, from continuous light to pulse light is 53.1, respectively. 46.8% and 61.2%. When the modulation frequency is 5 kHz, pump power is 8.7 W, the single pulse energy corresponding to the narrowest pulse width of 58 ns, is 112 渭 J. 4. Cr4: YAG saturable absorber is used to passively Q-switch the Nd:SYSO laser. The double wavelength output of 1075.2 nm and 1078.2 nm is obtained. The transmission rate of the output mirror is 5%. The maximum output power is 843 MW, the optical conversion efficiency is 12.5, the oblique efficiency is 13 and the narrowest pulse width is 26 ns.5, when the pump power is 6.7 W. The Q-switched mode-locking pulse output is realized by using Cr4: YAG saturable absorber and Nd:SYSO Q-switched mode-locking device, which is programmed by Matlab and designed for cavity shape, V-cavity and Cr4: YAG saturable absorber.
