基于飛秒激光的光纖微結(jié)構(gòu)制備及特性研究

【摘要】:由于光纖具有重量輕、抗干擾、損耗小、耐腐蝕等優(yōu)點,以光纖為基礎(chǔ)制作的器件在光纖傳感中得到了廣泛應(yīng)用,F(xiàn)在,光纖器件的微加工及應(yīng)用越來越受到人們的關(guān)注。飛秒激光具有脈沖短、峰值功率高等特點,在材料微加工方面逐漸被人們采用。本文闡述了飛秒激光的發(fā)展歷程以及飛秒激光微加工的優(yōu)點。總結(jié)了國內(nèi)外在光纖上制作微結(jié)構(gòu)的研究現(xiàn)狀,分析了飛秒激光與透明材料的相互作用機(jī)理。推導(dǎo)了光在光纖包層和纖芯中的傳輸方程。介紹了長周期光纖光柵的耦合模式以及雙光束干涉的原理。研究了飛秒激光能量密度、脈沖個數(shù)對光纖燒蝕孔洞直徑的影響,確定了激光加工的最佳參數(shù)。利用單脈沖飛秒激光在光纖纖芯中分別刻蝕了間距為2μm和5μm的單點微結(jié)構(gòu),得到的每個微結(jié)構(gòu)長約7μm、寬約2μm。測量了不同間距下的光纖微結(jié)構(gòu)的光譜及溫度特性。利用飛秒激光橫向直寫法在光纖纖芯制作了長度為200μm、周期為400um、總長度為2mm的長周期光纖光柵,刻蝕長度正好為周期的一半。測試并分析了其光譜及溫度特性。本文提出了用朗奇光柵分光來實現(xiàn)飛秒激光干涉微加工的方法,實際刻蝕了周期為20μm和周期為12μm的光纖光柵,研究了加工后光纖的光譜及溫度特性。
[Abstract]:Because optical fiber has the advantages of light weight, anti-interference, low loss and corrosion resistance, the devices based on optical fiber have been widely used in optical fiber sensing. Nowadays, people pay more and more attention to the microfabrication and application of optical fiber devices. Femtosecond laser is widely used in material microfabrication because of its short pulse and high peak power. This paper describes the development of femtosecond laser and the advantages of femtosecond laser micromachining. The research status of fabrication of microstructures on optical fibers at home and abroad is summarized, and the interaction mechanism between femtosecond laser and transparent materials is analyzed. The propagation equations of light in fiber cladding and core are derived. The coupling mode of long period fiber grating and the principle of double beam interference are introduced. The effects of femtosecond laser energy density and the number of pulses on the diameter of ablative holes in optical fiber are studied and the optimum parameters of laser processing are determined. The single-point microstructures with spacing of 2 渭 m and 5 渭 m were etched in the fiber core by monopulse femtosecond laser. The obtained microstructures were about 7 渭 m in length and 2 渭 m in width. The spectrum and temperature characteristics of fiber microstructures with different spacing were measured. A long-period fiber grating with a length of 200 渭 m, a period of 400um and a total length of 2mm has been fabricated by femtosecond laser transverse direct writing in the fiber core. The etching length is exactly half of the period. The spectral and temperature characteristics were measured and analyzed. In this paper, a method of femtosecond laser interferometric microfabrication using Range grating is proposed. The fiber grating with 20 渭 m period and 12 渭 m period is actually etched. The spectral and temperature characteristics of the processed fiber are studied.
