基于黃金分割比的長程介質(zhì)加載表面等離子激元波導(dǎo)傳輸特性研究(英文)

【摘要】:提出了一種基于黃金分割比的新型長程介質(zhì)加載表面等離子激元波導(dǎo)(LR-DLSPPW)結(jié)構(gòu),在通信波長λ0=1.55μm情形下,運(yùn)用有限元法對這種波導(dǎo)基模的歸一化電場分布、模式有效折射率、衰減常數(shù)、傳播長度、模式寬度、品質(zhì)因數(shù)和耦合長度等傳輸特性參數(shù)進(jìn)行了仿真分析計算。結(jié)果表明:與不具有黃金分割比的類似波導(dǎo)相比,基于黃金分割比的LR-DLSPPW具有較長的傳播長度1.36mm和較小的模式寬度1.35μm;當(dāng)介質(zhì)脊面積保持為0.9μm2不變且介質(zhì)脊高寬比值取為黃金分割比時,其品質(zhì)因數(shù)會出現(xiàn)一個超過6.15×105的最大值。此外,當(dāng)相鄰波導(dǎo)之間的間隔超過3μm時,相鄰波導(dǎo)間的串?dāng)_可被忽略。顯然,這種基于黃金分割比的新型波導(dǎo)結(jié)構(gòu)能夠很好地應(yīng)用于高密度光子集成回路的設(shè)計中。
[Abstract]:A new type of long-range dielectric loaded surface plasmon waveguide (LR-DLSPPW) structure based on golden section ratio is proposed. The normalized electric field distribution and mode effective refractive index of the fundamental modes of the waveguide are obtained by using finite element method under the communication wavelength 位 _ 0 ~ (1.55) 渭 m. The transmission characteristic parameters, such as attenuation constant, propagation length, mode width, quality factor and coupling length, are simulated and calculated. The results show that compared with similar waveguides without golden section ratio, The LR-DLSPPW based on golden section ratio has a long propagation length 1.36mm and a smaller mode width of 1.35 渭 m, and when the medium ridge area remains 0.9 渭 m ~ 2 and the ratio of height to width of the medium ridge is taken as the golden section ratio, the quality factor of LR-DLSPPW will have a maximum value of more than 6.15 脳 10 ~ 5. Furthermore, when the interval between adjacent waveguides exceeds 3 渭 m, the crosstalk between adjacent waveguides can be neglected. It is obvious that this new waveguide structure based on golden section ratio can be well applied to the design of high density photonic integrated circuit.
