【摘要】：為減小FPGA熱梯度的增加對芯片性能和可靠性的影響,提出一種基于垂直擴(kuò)散的溫度優(yōu)化布局算法.首先,通過實(shí)驗(yàn)分析了芯片溫度特性與芯片尺寸之間的關(guān)系;然后,根據(jù)布局后網(wǎng)表計算出過熱區(qū)域,利用該區(qū)域邊界及擴(kuò)散系數(shù)構(gòu)建溫度優(yōu)化布局算法,并引入局部位置調(diào)整機(jī)制解決邏輯塊位置重疊問題.實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果表明,與傳統(tǒng)布局算法的芯片溫度相比,在線長和延時平均僅增加3.4%和1.4%的情況下,該算法的峰值溫度平均減小7.5%,熱梯度平均減小20.3%.
[Abstract]:In order to reduce the effect of FPGA thermal gradient on chip performance and reliability, a temperature optimal layout algorithm based on vertical diffusion is proposed. Firstly, the relationship between chip temperature characteristics and chip size is analyzed by experiments, and then the superheated region is calculated according to the layout grid table, and the temperature optimization layout algorithm is constructed by using the boundary of the region and diffusion coefficient. The local position adjustment mechanism is introduced to solve the problem of logical block location overlap. The experimental results show that compared with the chip temperature of the traditional layout algorithm, the peak temperature of the algorithm decreases by 7.5 and the thermal gradient decreases by 20.3in the case of an average increase of 3.4% and 1.4% in on-line length and delay.
