噴墨打印C8-BTBT薄膜中的襯底效應(yīng)及其OTFT器件

【摘要】:以噴墨打印制備的共軛有機小分子2,7-二辛基[1]苯并噻吩并[3,2-b]苯并噻吩(C8-BTBT)作為有機薄膜晶體管(OTFT)的有源層,分別采用紫外臭氧處理、旋涂聚(4-乙烯基苯酚)(PVP)薄膜、自組裝苯乙基三氯硅烷(PETS)單分子層和苯基三氯硅烷(PTS)單分子層四種襯底修飾方法,分析有機小分子薄膜生長過程中的襯底效應(yīng),及其對OTFT器件性能的影響。其中PVP或PETS修飾襯底具有疏水及低表面粗糙度的特性,在其上噴墨打印沉積的C8-BTBT單線條薄膜具有均勻性好、覆蓋率高且有序堆積的結(jié)晶形貌,基于這種高質(zhì)量薄膜制備的OTFT器件性能最優(yōu),飽和場效應(yīng)遷移率達到1 cm2·V-1·s-1左右,開關(guān)比超過106。結(jié)果表明,對打印襯底進行疏水性處理及降低表面粗糙度是制備高性能共軛小分子OTFT器件的有效途徑。
[Abstract]:The conjugated organic small molecule 2h7- dioctyl [1] benzothiopheno [3t2b] benzothiophene C8-BTBT) was used as the active layer of organic thin film transistor (OTFTs). The thin films were treated by ultraviolet ozone and spin-coated with poly (4-vinylphenol) (PVP), respectively. Self-assembled phenylethyltrichlorosilane (PETS) monolayers and phenyltrichlorosilane (PTS) monolayers were modified on four substrates to analyze the substrate effect during the growth of organic small molecular films and their effects on the properties of OTFT devices. PVP or pets modified substrates have the characteristics of hydrophobic and low surface roughness. The C8-BTBT single line films deposited by inkjet printing on them have good uniformity, high coverage and orderly stacking. Based on the high quality thin film, the OTFT device has the best performance, the saturation field effect mobility is about 1 cm2 V-1 s -1 and the switching ratio is more than 106. The results show that hydrophobic treatment of printed substrates and reduction of surface roughness are effective ways to fabricate high performance conjugated small molecule OTFT devices.
