印刷線路板分壓離子阱的離子單向出射性能研究

【摘要】:印刷線路板(Printed-Circuit-Board,PCB)分壓離子阱是一種新型質(zhì)量分析器,其突出優(yōu)點(diǎn)在于內(nèi)部電場可通過調(diào)節(jié)射頻分壓比進(jìn)行優(yōu)化。本實(shí)驗(yàn)在PCB分壓離子阱離子出射方向的兩組離散電極上配置了非對稱的射頻分壓,以引入奇次階場成分,使得射頻電場的場中心(即離子運(yùn)動(dòng)中心)發(fā)生偏移,從而實(shí)現(xiàn)離子單向出射。通過數(shù)值計(jì)算軟件SIMION和AXSIM分析了射頻分壓比差值與其內(nèi)部電場分布的關(guān)系,并模擬離子運(yùn)動(dòng)軌跡,得到離子出射情況和模擬質(zhì)譜峰。模擬結(jié)果表明,當(dāng)兩組離散電極的射頻分壓比差值為20%時(shí),在合適的AC頻率條件下,對于m/z=609 Th的離子,PCB分壓離子阱的離子單向出射率可達(dá)90%以上,且質(zhì)量分辨率大于2500。本研究可使PCB分壓離子阱在基本不損失質(zhì)量分辨率和使用單檢測器模式下,大幅提高離子檢測效率,因而在小型化質(zhì)譜儀應(yīng)用中具有顯著優(yōu)勢。
[Abstract]:Printed-Circuit-Board-PCB (PCB) is a new type of mass analyser. Its outstanding advantage is that the internal electric field can be optimized by adjusting the RF voltage fraction.In this experiment, asymmetric RF partial voltage is arranged on two groups of discrete electrodes in the direction of ion ejection in PCB partial pressure ion trap to introduce odd-order field components, which makes the field center of RF electric field (that is the center of ion motion) to shift.Thus, the ion emission is realized in one direction.The relationship between the difference of radio frequency partial pressure ratio and the distribution of internal electric field is analyzed by numerical calculation software SIMION and AXSIM. The ion movement trajectory is simulated and the ion ejection and the simulated mass spectrum peak are obtained.The simulation results show that when the radio frequency partial voltage ratio difference between the two groups of discrete electrodes is 20, under the appropriate AC frequency, the ion one-way emission rate of the m/z=609 Th ion trap can reach more than 90%, and the mass resolution is more than 2500.In this study, the PCB partial pressure ion trap can greatly improve the efficiency of ion detection under the condition of no loss of mass resolution and the use of single detector mode, so it has significant advantages in the application of miniaturized mass spectrometers.
