基于PPLN晶體的腔內(nèi)倍頻綠光脈沖激光器

【摘要】:LD泵浦的全固態(tài)被動調(diào)Q綠光脈沖激光器具有光束質(zhì)量好、峰值功率高等特點,在材料加工、大氣探測、光譜分析等領(lǐng)域具有廣泛的應(yīng)用。本文基于Nd:YVO4晶體,以Cr4+:YAG為飽和吸收體,采用808nm LD端面泵浦方式獲得了高效的1064nm調(diào)Q脈沖激光輸出。在此基礎(chǔ)上,將PPLN倍頻晶體引入諧振腔,實現(xiàn)了高重頻、窄脈寬的綠光脈沖輸出。論文首先基于被動調(diào)Q速率方程,通過數(shù)值求解獲得了調(diào)Q脈沖峰值功率、能量及單脈沖的能量利用率等參量;接著,詳細(xì)介紹了 Nd:YV04與Nd:GdV04兩種激光晶體的物理及光學(xué)特性,通過對比分析最終確定采用Nd:YVO4晶體作為我們所設(shè)計激光器的工作物質(zhì);其次,分析了 PPLN倍頻晶體的光學(xué)性質(zhì),數(shù)值模擬了其倍頻輸出特性,進(jìn)而,優(yōu)化了晶體的極化周期與工作溫度。實驗中,我們設(shè)計并構(gòu)建了一種808nm LD泵浦Nd:YV04/Cr4+:YAG晶體的直線腔1064nm脈沖激光器。實驗結(jié)果表明,在激光晶體吸收功率為4.5W時,1064nm脈沖光輸出功率為1.04W,重復(fù)頻率為44.32KHz,脈沖寬度為78ns,相應(yīng)的光-光轉(zhuǎn)化效率為23.11%。進(jìn)而,在1064nm脈沖激光器的基礎(chǔ)上將1064nm輸出鏡替換為PPLN倍頻晶體,實現(xiàn)了 532nm綠光脈沖輸出。實驗結(jié)果顯示,在激光晶體吸收功率為4.5W時,脈沖綠光輸出功率為452mW,重復(fù)頻率為38.9KHz,脈沖寬度為40ns,相應(yīng)的光-光轉(zhuǎn)化效率約為10%。
[Abstract]:LD-pumped all-solid-state passively Q-switched green pulse laser with good beam quality and high peak power has been widely used in material processing, atmospheric detection, spectral analysis and other fields.Based on Nd:YVO4 crystal and Cr4: YAG as saturable absorber, an efficient 1064nm Q-switched pulse laser is obtained by 808nm LD end-pumped method.On this basis, the PPLN double frequency crystal is introduced into the resonator to realize the green light pulse output with high repetition frequency and narrow pulse width.Based on the passively Q-switched rate equation, the parameters of Q-switched pulse peak power, energy and energy utilization ratio of single pulse are obtained by numerical solution, and then the physical and optical properties of Nd:YV04 and Nd:GdV04 laser crystals are introduced in detail.Finally, the Nd:YVO4 crystal is chosen as the working material of the laser. Secondly, the optical properties of the PPLN double frequency crystal are analyzed, and the output characteristics of the double frequency crystal are numerically simulated.The polarization period and working temperature of the crystal are optimized.In the experiment, we design and construct a linear cavity 1064nm pulse laser pumped by 808nm LD.The experimental results show that the output power of 1064nm pulse is 1.04W, the repetition rate is 44.32kHz, the pulse width is 78ns, and the corresponding optical-optical conversion efficiency is 23.11when the absorption power of laser crystal is 4.5W.Furthermore, based on the 1064nm pulse laser, the 1064nm output mirror is replaced by the PPLN frequency-doubling crystal, and the 532nm green light pulse output is realized.The experimental results show that when the absorption power of laser crystal is 4.5 W, the output power of green light is 452 MW, the repetition rate is 38.9 KHz, the pulse width is 40 ns, and the corresponding conversion efficiency is about 10%.
