【摘要】:近些年在光通信領(lǐng)域,半導(dǎo)體激光器在通信光源方面發(fā)揮著重要作用,半導(dǎo)體激光器的性能也得到迅速提升。伴隨著WDM波分復(fù)用光傳輸系統(tǒng)應(yīng)用開(kāi)發(fā)的不斷深入,對(duì)光源激光器各項(xiàng)指標(biāo)也都提出更高的要求;诨旌霞尚⌒突耐馇豢烧{(diào)諧激光器具有實(shí)現(xiàn)工藝簡(jiǎn)單,信號(hào)質(zhì)量好和調(diào)諧范圍寬等優(yōu)良特點(diǎn),受到越來(lái)越多研究機(jī)構(gòu)和學(xué)者們的關(guān)注和研究。外腔可調(diào)諧激光器因其具有較長(zhǎng)外腔和外部的模式選擇器件,導(dǎo)致其在工藝封裝和調(diào)制特性上與普通激光器有所不同。 本文針對(duì)現(xiàn)有幾種不同外腔可調(diào)諧激光器的應(yīng)用進(jìn)行了詳細(xì)的研究,對(duì)不同調(diào)諧機(jī)制和特性進(jìn)行了逐一分析,對(duì)半導(dǎo)體激光器和外腔可調(diào)諧激光器的基本理論進(jìn)行了全面的闡述,分析了外腔可調(diào)諧激光器的基本特性。然后研究了現(xiàn)階段有源芯片與無(wú)源波導(dǎo)的耦合原理和光路結(jié)構(gòu),設(shè)計(jì)了一款硅光透鏡,模擬分析和實(shí)際測(cè)試透鏡的耦合性能。最后,研究分析了直調(diào)外腔可調(diào)諧的直接調(diào)制特性,將影響直調(diào)外腔可調(diào)諧激光器的影響因素劃分為光域延遲和電域延遲,理論研究推導(dǎo)了其影響因素并模擬分析,開(kāi)發(fā)測(cè)試外腔可調(diào)諧激光器,搭建實(shí)驗(yàn)測(cè)試平臺(tái),,實(shí)際測(cè)試分析其影響因子對(duì)直調(diào)特性的作用效果。本文的研究?jī)?nèi)容對(duì)外腔可調(diào)諧激光器的在設(shè)計(jì)封裝設(shè)計(jì)和直調(diào)應(yīng)用研究上具有一定的參考價(jià)值。
[Abstract]:In recent years, semiconductor lasers have played an important role in the field of optical communication, and the performance of semiconductor lasers has been rapidly improved. With the development of WDM wavelength division multiplexing optical transmission system, Based on the hybrid integrated miniaturization external cavity tunable laser has the advantages of simple technology, good signal quality and wide tuning range. Due to its long external cavity and external mode selection devices, the external cavity tunable laser is different from the conventional laser in process encapsulation and modulation characteristics. In this paper, the applications of several kinds of tunable lasers with different external cavities are studied in detail, and the different tuning mechanisms and characteristics are analyzed one by one. The basic theories of semiconductor lasers and external cavity tunable lasers are expounded, and the basic characteristics of external cavity tunable lasers are analyzed. Then, the coupling principle and optical structure of active chip and passive waveguide are studied. A silicon optical lens is designed, and the coupling performance of the lens is analyzed and simulated. Finally, the tunable direct modulation characteristics of the tunable external cavity are studied and analyzed. The influence factors of tunable laser with tunable external cavity are divided into optical delay and electric delay. The influence factors are studied and analyzed theoretically, the tunable laser is developed and tested, and the experimental test platform is built. The effect of the influence factors on the direct-modulation characteristics is tested and analyzed. The research content of this paper has some reference value in the design and packaging design of external cavity tunable laser and the research of direct-tuning application.
