強激光驅(qū)動的運動電場加速質(zhì)子的研究

【摘要】:為了研究激光輻射壓驅(qū)動的運動電場中加速質(zhì)子的相關(guān)問題,對強激光與等離子體相互作用過程進行了理論分析,并采用2維粒子模擬方法,對理論分析結(jié)果進行了數(shù)值模擬驗證。結(jié)果表明,當(dāng)超短超強激光脈沖與處在背景等離子體前方的薄固體平靶相互作用時,在固體靶后部形成一個由電子層-離子層組成的雙層結(jié)構(gòu),在激光輻射壓的不斷推進下,雙層結(jié)構(gòu)在背景等離子體里以一定速度傳播形成一個運動電場;在背景等離子體中的質(zhì)子被這個運動電場捕獲并能加速到很高的能量,質(zhì)子的最大能量達到20GeV。理論分析結(jié)果與2維粒子模擬結(jié)果符合得很好。
[Abstract]:In order to study the related problems of accelerating proton in the moving electric field driven by laser radiation pressure, the interaction between intense laser and plasma is theoretically analyzed, and the two-dimensional particle simulation method is used. The theoretical results are verified by numerical simulation. The results show that when ultrashort ultra-strong laser pulses interact with thin solid flat targets in front of the background plasma, A double-layer structure composed of electron layer and ion layer is formed at the back of the solid target, and a moving electric field is formed by the double-layer structure propagating at a certain speed in the background plasma under the continuous promotion of the laser radiation pressure. The protons in the background plasma are trapped by the moving electric field and can be accelerated to a very high energy. The maximum energy of the protons is up to 20 GeV. The theoretical results are in good agreement with the two-dimensional particle simulation results.
