【摘要】：本文是一篇翻譯實踐報告。翻譯原文選自尼古拉斯·卡恩斯(Nicholas Carnes)所著的《白領(lǐng)政府：經(jīng)濟政策制定中階級的隱藏作用》(White-Collar Government: The Hidden Role of Class in Economic Policy Making)一書的第一章和第五章。原文是一本研究美國公共政策的專業(yè)著作,于2013年美國芝加哥大學(xué)出版。第一章闡述美國議會階級構(gòu)成中存在的問題以及強調(diào)對這些問題進行研究的重要性。第五章是本書的核心章節(jié),作者利用數(shù)理統(tǒng)計與數(shù)據(jù)分析對議會的階級構(gòu)成和制定的經(jīng)濟政策之間的關(guān)系進行研究。第一章和第五章之間有邏輯聯(lián)系。第五章總結(jié)了前四章的研究成果。 該書涉及學(xué)科范圍廣泛,包括公共管理學(xué)、公共政策學(xué)、統(tǒng)計學(xué)、計量經(jīng)濟學(xué)等等。所選章節(jié)專業(yè)性較強,涉及政治、經(jīng)濟、數(shù)學(xué)術(shù)語較多,譯者以德國功能學(xué)派代表人物克里斯蒂安·諾德(Christiane Nord)的“功能與忠誠”理論為指導(dǎo),分析原文句法、表達(dá)特點,利用不同翻譯策略,準(zhǔn)確、簡潔地給讀者傳達(dá)原文本信息。 報告主要分為五個部分：第一部分簡要介紹翻譯任務(wù),分析原作者的意圖、源文本的寫作背景、翻譯任務(wù)的目的和意義。第二部分對翻譯任務(wù)進行描述,了解源文本的文外因素和文內(nèi)因素,如題材、內(nèi)容、文本功能等等。第三部分簡要介紹了翻譯任務(wù)的準(zhǔn)備工作。第四部分分析源文本中的具體實例,采用增譯、拆分等翻譯技巧對專業(yè)詞匯、長難句進行處理。第五部分總結(jié)翻譯實踐中的所感所悟。譯文有助于國內(nèi)學(xué)者理解階級對經(jīng)濟政策制定的深刻影響,同時為同類型的文本譯者提供借鑒。
[Abstract]:This is a translation practice report. Chapter I and part two of White-Collar Government: The Hidden Role of Class in Economic Policy making: The Hidden Role of Class in Economic Policy making. Chapter V. the original text is a professional work on public policy in the United States, Published at the University of Chicago in 2013. Chapter 1 sets out the problems in the class composition of the United States Congress and emphasizes the importance of studying them. Chapter 5 is the core chapter of the book. The author makes use of mathematical statistics and data analysis to study the relationship between the class composition of parliament and the economic policy made by the parliament. The first and fifth chapters have logical relations. The fifth chapter summarizes the research results of the first four chapters. The book covers a wide range of disciplines, including public management, public policy, statistics, econometrics, etc. Guided by the "function and loyalty" theory of Christian Nordan, a representative of the German functional School, the translator analyzes the syntactic and expressive features of the original text and conveys the original text information accurately and succinctly to the reader by using different translation strategies. The report is divided into five parts: the first part briefly introduces the translation task, analyzes the original author's intention, the writing background of the source text, the purpose and significance of the translation task, and the second part describes the translation task. Understand the extrinsic and intra-text factors of the source text, such as subject matter, content, text function, etc. The third part briefly introduces the preparation of translation tasks. Translation techniques, such as splitting, deal with professional vocabulary and long difficult sentences. The fifth part summarizes what we feel in translation practice. The translation helps domestic scholars understand the profound influence of class on economic policy making. At the same time, it provides reference for the same type of text translators.
