【摘要】： 在人類行為的諸多約束中，人們面臨的機會集合大小，無疑是一個十分重要的約束條件。然而，這一約束在很大程度上為傳統(tǒng)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)經(jīng)濟學(xué)所忽視了。論文首先從基礎(chǔ)經(jīng)濟理論的層面，一般性地考察了機會擴展對選擇過程、合約安排以及制度變遷可能產(chǎn)生的影響。其次，在結(jié)合已有文獻的基礎(chǔ)上，，論文考察了非空機會集合對人類福利所具有的多重價值。 某一機會集合不僅提供了一定的功利價值和一定的非功利價值——即由機會集合提供的自由選擇的價值，也提供了一種另外意義上的價值，即機會集合大小作為一個約束條件所具有的限制強制、增加消極自由的價值。文章論證了，自由內(nèi)生于機會擴展，即隨著機會的擴展，強制方對被強制方實施強制的成本將不斷增加，因此，在強制力量一定的條件下，強制方不得不逐步放棄原有的強制，從而人們享有的消極自由就增長了。 內(nèi)生自由假說增進了我們對自由的理解，使我們認識到自由不僅是重要的、必要的，在某種程度上也是必然的。內(nèi)生自由假說也使我們認識到，實施機會擴展的措施和改革(比如中國的改革開放政策)不僅有利于經(jīng)濟效率和福利的提升，也有利于加快社會、家庭自由化的進程。 在論文最后部分，綜述了最近文獻對機會與自由關(guān)系的討論，主要內(nèi)容是探討如何運用公理化方法對含有自由價值的機會集合進行排序的問題。
[Abstract]:Among the many constraints of human behavior, the size of opportunity set is undoubtedly a very important constraint. However, this constraint has been ignored to a large extent by traditional standard economics. First of all, from the perspective of basic economic theory, this paper generally examines the possible impact of opportunity expansion on the selection process, contract arrangements and institutional changes. Secondly, on the basis of the existing literature, this paper examines the multiple values of non-empty opportunity sets to human welfare. A set of opportunities not only provides a certain utilitarian value and a certain non-utilitarian value-that is, the value of free choice provided by the set of opportunities, but also provides a value in the other sense. That is, the size of opportunity set, as a constraint, is restricted and mandatory, which increases the value of negative freedom. This paper demonstrates that the cost of forcing the enforcement party against the enforced party will continue to increase with the expansion of the opportunity, therefore, under certain conditions of the coercive force, the enforcer has to give up the original coercive force step by step. As a result, people enjoy more negative freedom. The hypothesis of endogenic freedom enhances our understanding of freedom and makes us realize that freedom is not only important, necessary, but also necessary to some extent. The hypothesis of endogenous freedom also makes us realize that the implementation of measures and reforms (such as China's reform and opening up policy) is not only conducive to the improvement of economic efficiency and welfare, but also conducive to speeding up the process of social and family liberalization. In the last part of the paper, the discussion on the relationship between opportunity and freedom in recent literature is reviewed, and the main content is to discuss how to use axiomatic method to sort the set of opportunities with free value.
