[Abstract]:On September 2017, the "Nanjing Sponge City Special Plan" (hereinafter referred to as the "Special Plan"), led by the Nanjing Municipal Planning Bureau, was approved by the municipal government. This means that the construction of Nanjing Sponge City has entered a full speed period. Design, construction units and management departments carry out the concept of sponge city planning and design, apply the standards of sponge city to design, and provide authoritative guidance for construction. As early as July 6th 2016, Nanjing Municipal Government issued "opinions on the implementation of promoting the Construction of Sponge City". Sponge City refers to a city that can "breathe" like a sponge.
