位置感知的Web服務(wù)性能預(yù)測(cè)研究

【摘要】:Web服務(wù)的性能是用戶(hù)在選擇Web服務(wù)時(shí)常會(huì)考慮的一個(gè)重要因素。用戶(hù)對(duì)未訪問(wèn)過(guò)的服務(wù)性能并不清楚。因此在選擇服務(wù)時(shí),常常需要對(duì)它們的性能進(jìn)行預(yù)測(cè),來(lái)幫助用戶(hù)選擇到滿(mǎn)意的服務(wù)。如何提高Web服務(wù)性能的預(yù)測(cè)精度是近年來(lái)的一個(gè)熱點(diǎn)研究問(wèn)題。最近,一些工作考慮了用戶(hù)或者Web服務(wù)的位置對(duì)服務(wù)性能的影響,從理論上提出了位置感知的Web服務(wù)性能預(yù)測(cè)方法。然而,很少有工作在實(shí)踐中針對(duì)Web服務(wù)性能與用戶(hù)、服務(wù)位置的關(guān)系進(jìn)行驗(yàn)證。 本文在考慮地理位置和網(wǎng)絡(luò)位置的前提下,提出了一套對(duì)Web服務(wù)性能與用戶(hù)、服務(wù)位置的關(guān)系進(jìn)行驗(yàn)證的方法,,并使用了大規(guī)模的真實(shí)Web服務(wù)的性能數(shù)據(jù)集進(jìn)行了實(shí)驗(yàn);诘乩砦恢玫姆椒ㄍㄟ^(guò)映射IP地址到經(jīng)緯度,計(jì)算出用戶(hù)(服務(wù))之間的地理距離;然后分別驗(yàn)證了地理位置對(duì)服務(wù)性能的影響和用戶(hù)(服務(wù))之間的地理距離對(duì)它們之間相似度的影響;诰W(wǎng)絡(luò)位置的方法定義在相同國(guó)家或AS的用戶(hù)(服務(wù))為鄰居,通過(guò)將IP地址映射到相應(yīng)的國(guó)家或AS;然后分別驗(yàn)證了網(wǎng)絡(luò)位置對(duì)服務(wù)性能的影響和用戶(hù)(服務(wù))之間的網(wǎng)絡(luò)距離對(duì)它們之間相似度的影響。 以上兩種方法的實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果均表明:(1)同一個(gè)用戶(hù)調(diào)用不同的服務(wù)時(shí),位置近的服務(wù)性能均值要優(yōu)于遠(yuǎn)處的服務(wù)性能均值;(2)同一個(gè)服務(wù)被不同的用戶(hù)調(diào)用時(shí),距離近的用戶(hù)調(diào)用的服務(wù)性能要更好;(3)位置近的用戶(hù)(服務(wù))相似度要高于遠(yuǎn)處的用戶(hù)(服務(wù))相似度;(4)如果兩個(gè)用戶(hù)(服務(wù))具有相似的性能,那么這兩個(gè)用戶(hù)(服務(wù))有很高的概率在位置上也臨近;反過(guò)來(lái)亦如此。通過(guò)對(duì)比上述兩種方法發(fā)現(xiàn),網(wǎng)絡(luò)位置比地理位置與服務(wù)性能的關(guān)系更密切。在實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果的基礎(chǔ)上,文中還提出了幾種利用地理位置和網(wǎng)絡(luò)位置的Web服務(wù)性能預(yù)測(cè)方法,與已有的一些經(jīng)典的Web服務(wù)性能預(yù)測(cè)方法相比,在一定程度上切實(shí)提高了服務(wù)性能的預(yù)測(cè)精度。
[Abstract]:The performance of Web services is an important factor that users often consider in choosing Web services. Users are not aware of unaccessed service performance. Therefore, when selecting services, we often need to predict their performance to help users select satisfactory services. How to improve the prediction accuracy of Web service performance is a hot issue in recent years. Recently, some work has considered the influence of user or Web service location on service performance, and put forward a location-aware Web service performance prediction method in theory. However, little work has been done in practice to verify the relationship between Web service performance and user, service location. On the premise of considering geographical location and network location, this paper proposes a method to verify the relationship between Web service performance and user, service location, and uses a large scale real Web service performance data set to carry out experiments. The geographical distance between users (services) is calculated by mapping IP address to latitude and longitude. Then the effects of geographical location on service performance and geographic distance between users (services) on their similarity were verified. A network-based approach is defined as a neighbor to a user (service) in the same country or AS by mapping the IP address to the corresponding country or AS; Then the influence of network location on service performance and the influence of network distance between users (services) on their similarity are verified respectively. The experimental results of the above two methods show that: (1) when the same user invokes different services, the average value of service performance near the location is better than the average service performance in the distance; (2) when the same service is called by different users, the service performance of the close user calls is better, (3) the similarity of the user (service) near the location is higher than that of the distant user (service). (4) if two users (services) have similar performance, then the two users (services) have a high probability of approaching in the location and vice versa. By comparing the above two methods, it is found that network location is more closely related to service performance than geographical location. Based on the experimental results, several Web service performance prediction methods based on geographical location and network location are proposed, which are compared with some classical Web service performance prediction methods. The prediction accuracy of service performance is improved to a certain extent.
