EPC用戶面結(jié)合軟件定義網(wǎng)絡技術(shù)的研究與設計

【摘要】:傳統(tǒng)網(wǎng)絡將控制邏輯和數(shù)據(jù)轉(zhuǎn)發(fā)緊密結(jié)合于網(wǎng)絡設備上,從而導致網(wǎng)絡規(guī)模日漸臃腫,使得控制平面管理日益復雜。將傳統(tǒng)網(wǎng)絡設備中的控制功能剝離出來,放置到網(wǎng)絡中更高的層面,原先的網(wǎng)絡設備由于沒有了控制決策的功能,退化為單純的轉(zhuǎn)發(fā)元件,網(wǎng)絡脈絡變得更加清晰。同時,被剝離出來的網(wǎng)絡控制功能形成一個大的“控制器”,通過對控制器進行轉(zhuǎn)發(fā)規(guī)則的定義來控制網(wǎng)絡中數(shù)據(jù)的流向。由于不同的網(wǎng)絡使用者需求不同,可以在控制器之上進行軟件的編寫,達到差異化定制的效果,滿足不同的需求。這種“軟件定義--集中控制--單純轉(zhuǎn)發(fā)”的思想被命名為軟件定義網(wǎng)絡,即software-defined network. 與2G/2.5G網(wǎng)絡中的GPRS架構(gòu)相比,EPC架構(gòu)呈扁平化發(fā)展,控制平面和用戶平面趨于分離,其中用戶平面網(wǎng)元主要由S-GW和P-GW組成,S-GW將SGSN中與移動性管理相關(guān)的控制功能剝離出來,只用于承載用戶數(shù)據(jù);P-GW類似于GPRS中的GGSN功能,是核心網(wǎng)系統(tǒng)和外部數(shù)據(jù)網(wǎng)絡連接的網(wǎng)關(guān),主要負責路由選擇與轉(zhuǎn)發(fā)功能,其功能類似于傳統(tǒng)因特網(wǎng)中的路由器。 Openflow是軟件定義網(wǎng)絡發(fā)展過程中比較重要的一個協(xié)議,它定義了轉(zhuǎn)發(fā)數(shù)據(jù)包的格式、數(shù)據(jù)結(jié)構(gòu)及一些對數(shù)據(jù)流的操作,目前市面上已有支持0penflow協(xié)議1.0和1.3版本的交換機。 本文從SAE架構(gòu)的EPC部分出發(fā),結(jié)合SDN中集中控制--轉(zhuǎn)發(fā)分離的基本思想,擬運用SDN的關(guān)鍵技術(shù)及協(xié)議,并試圖將EPC中用戶面(包括Serving GW和PDN GW,服務網(wǎng)關(guān)和分組數(shù)據(jù)網(wǎng)關(guān))的控制與轉(zhuǎn)發(fā)流程與SDN的思想相結(jié)合,并提出一種結(jié)合了軟件定義網(wǎng)絡的EPC用戶面網(wǎng)絡架構(gòu)原型。
[Abstract]:In the traditional network equipment , the control logic and the data forwarding are tightly combined on the network equipment , thereby causing the network scale to become increasingly complex .
Compared with the GPRS architecture in the 2G / 2.5G network , the EPC architecture is flat , the control plane and the user plane tend to be separated , wherein the user plane network element is mainly composed of the S - GW and the P - GW , and the S - GW separates the control function related to the mobility management in the SGSN , and is only used for carrying user data ;
The P - GW is similar to GGSN function in GPRS , which is the gateway of core network system and external data network connection . It is mainly responsible for routing and forwarding function , and its function is similar to router in traditional Internet .
Openflow is an important protocol in the development of software - defined networks . It defines the format , data structure and some operations on the data stream . Currently , there are more than 1.0 and 1.3 versions of switches on the market .
Starting from the EPC part of the SAE architecture , this paper combines the basic idea of centralized control - forwarding separation in the network , proposes the key technologies and protocols of the SDNs , and attempts to combine the control of the user plane ( including the serving GW and the PDN GW , the service gateway and the packet data gateway ) in the EPC and the thought of the network , and proposes a prototype of the EPC user plane network architecture combining the software defined network .
