【摘要】：針對網(wǎng)絡功能虛擬化(Network Function Virtualization,NFV)在通用服務器中部署的處理性能受限問題,該文提出了一種基于硬件加速的虛擬網(wǎng)絡功能(Virtual Network Function,VNF)處理結(jié)構(gòu):FARD(Function Adaptive and Resource Dividable hardware structure).通過可編程的包頭解析器和動作處理器,FARD可實現(xiàn)任意L2/3/4層功能實例的硬件加速處理;通過動態(tài)可分割的匹配表結(jié)構(gòu),FARD支持不同功能實例間的資源動態(tài)分配和隔離.基于NetFPGA-10G的實驗結(jié)果表明,對比基于純軟件實現(xiàn)的VNF,FARD加速結(jié)構(gòu)提升了近60倍的包處理吞吐率.
[Abstract]:For the performance constrained problem of Network Function Virtualization (NFV) deployed in a universal server, this paper presents a virtual network function (Virtual Network Function, VNF) processing structure based on hardware acceleration: FARD (Function Adaptive and). The programming of the Baotou parser and action processor, FARD can implement the hardware acceleration processing of any L2/3/4 layer function instance; through the dynamically divided matching table structure, FARD supports the dynamic allocation and isolation of resources between different functional instances. The experimental results based on NetFPGA-10G show that the VNF and FARD acceleration structure based on the pure software implementation are compared. Up to 60 times the packet processing and puff rate.
