基于令牌桶算法的交換網(wǎng)流量控制方法

【摘要】:隨著我國網(wǎng)絡(luò)建設(shè)的發(fā)展,對路由器等網(wǎng)絡(luò)設(shè)備諸如吞吐量、業(yè)務(wù)擴展等要求也越來越高,分布式路由器應(yīng)運而生。作為分布式路由器的核心部分,交換網(wǎng)的利用率成為限制路由器整體性能的瓶頸之一。通過改進交換網(wǎng)的流量控制,更加充分地利用交換網(wǎng)成為提升路由器整體性能的手段之一。 本文詳細分析了某通信技術(shù)公司路由產(chǎn)品現(xiàn)有的流量控制方式,結(jié)合交換網(wǎng)與接口板的特點,提出了一種基于令牌桶算法的交換網(wǎng)分布式流量控制方法。該方法采用下行驅(qū)動上行的模式,由下行接口板根據(jù)實時流量及時調(diào)整帶寬分配,上行接口板依照調(diào)整結(jié)果更新本接口板發(fā)送速率的限制;此外,分析組播報文與單播報文發(fā)送方式的不同,結(jié)合組播報文的特點,增加了對組播報文的流控,使之與單播報文一同服從下行接口板的調(diào)度。對上述的控制方法進行仿真實驗,實驗結(jié)果表明,接口板使用本方法后可以快速調(diào)整帶寬分配,調(diào)整過程收斂速度快,收斂后下行接口板的板件接口帶寬可被充分利用,對于組播報文亦可以根據(jù)下行接口板的不同調(diào)整各接口板收到的組播報文流量大小。
[Abstract]:With the development of network construction in our country, network equipments such as routers, such as throughput and service expansion, are required more and more, and distributed routers emerge as the times require, which is the core part of distributed routers. The utilization rate of the switching network becomes one of the bottlenecks that limit the overall performance of the router. By improving the traffic control of the switching network, making full use of the switching network becomes one of the means to improve the overall performance of the router. In this paper, the current flow control methods of routing products in a communication technology company are analyzed in detail, and the characteristics of switching network and interface board are combined. A distributed traffic control method based on token bucket algorithm is proposed in this paper. The method adopts the mode of downlink driving uplink, and the downlink interface board adjusts the bandwidth allocation according to the real-time traffic in time. The uplink interface board updates the limitation of the transmission rate of the interface board according to the adjustment results. In addition, the differences between multicast packets and unicast packets are analyzed, and the flow control of multicast packets is added in combination with the characteristics of multicast packets. The simulation results show that the interface board can adjust the bandwidth distribution quickly and the adjustment process converges quickly. The bandwidth of the board interface of the downlink interface board after convergence can be fully utilized, and the traffic of multicast packets received by each interface board can also be adjusted according to the different downlink interface boards.
